What I Look For
I welcome applications from prospective PhD students who demonstrate fit, prior research experience, methods/statistics preparation, and academic writing ability. Fit matters most: students whose research interests overlap with one or more of my programs of research are the ones I am best positioned to advise. I also welcome applications from students who are active learners, critical thinkers, and effective communicators.
